Overview
This project consisted on creating a new website for a Costa-Rican college. The previous site presented several issues and a complete redesign was needed. The college needed to communicate a more modern look and show more information from their paths.
My Role
For this project, as a UX designer I was mainly tasked with organizing the contents of the website and creating an intuitive structure (wireframes) that would motivate users to enroll on the college.

Access to complete academic programs
The first issue we had to solve was to grant access to interested users to all the information they may need to finally decide to enroll.

Redefining an institution
As stated before, this client needed the website to reflect their new direction for the company, so while talking to the stakeholders, they expressed the desire of a website that really showed the audience the new priorities of the college

Fully-online enrollment
To ensure the conversion, the site has strategically-placed call to actions that guide the user into an online enrollment process. This was made in this manner so that no user would lose their impulse to join.
Defining the Challenge
We wanted to create a digital "buddy" that would help user on every aspect of their vehicle needs. However we needed to understand what those needs where, we shouldn't assume we know a solution when we don't. So we asked users those needs and began brainstorming solutions.
The User
This site has an interesting duality on the target user. It needs to show young people entering as possible students, but also giving an aura of professionalism to make sure their parents, as the ones "buying the product", feel safe enrolling their "kids".
Their needs
Because of the type of users found, the site was based on both online courses and physical institutions. Prioritizing course information and financial support. Because of the country's current situation, a big emphasis was put o there minors programs, so that students wouldn't feel intimidated with a complete academic degree.
Conveying trust
Creating a website that inspired trust and confidence was paramount. We carefully curated and presented information in a clear and user-friendly manner to instill a sense of credibility. Additionally, we simplified the enrollment process, providing users with an intuitive and streamlined experience to easily join the school and pursue their creative aspirations.
